FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy

A lightweight and basically unnecessary attempt to once again bring some cinematic life to one of the lesser teams in the Marvel Universe. The witty dialogue and knowing humour of films like Iron Man and Guardians Of The Galaxy is completely absent here

The plot makes increasingly little sense as it stumbles from one apparently unrelated scene to the next.

A tangled and weak script that wraps up with a quick, inconsistent, and boring finale.

The end result feels like an expensive pilot for a TV show that will never get picked up.
