Indian Moto X 2013 users were literally mad because almost all android devices were coming up with lollipop update but the Moto X was left alone. Users were frustrated because they believed that Motorola phones will be the first to get lollipop update but now they finally got the android update.
File is approximately of 688MB and till now is working well in phone but the battery of phone is draining 1% every 5 minutes.
First the update was released in Brazil but now its also available in countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain. It’s worth mentioning that the update is currently only available for retail units in these markets.
Motorola’s reason for late update was that the Moto X 2013 has an unconventional chipset as it is dual core but also has different cores for different tasks. That’s why many soak test were going on so that consumer don’t get dissatisfied by upgrading to lollipop.
We will post the full Usage experience review in two weeks.
