Few years ago when Motorola entered the Indian market it came with a revolution and people started believing in buying phones online from portals. Even I bought Moto X first generation from flipkart as I was not confident on buying online but then my thoughts were cleared as I opened the parcel that came at my doorsteps.
Motorola indeed expanded from Flipkart only as the phones were getting very good response of the cutting price with pure android quality killing all the merchant profits that store keepers keep these days.
But the response is increasing day by day so because of that Motorola ended its exclusivity with Flipkart after following the footsteps of Xiaomi.
Now Motorola phones would be available at select airtel stores and e commerce portals like Amazon and snapdeal.
Motorola mobility that is the mobile phone arm of Motorola is selling Moto G, Moto E, Moto X and Moto 360 smartwatch.
“ responding to the growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms. To start off, we will be available at select stores for our consumers to experience and purchase the device,” Motorola Mobility India general manager Amit Boni Said.
