Alright we know, it’s hard to put a price on human life, but Matt Damon, it seems, has gone a tad bit overboard. From Saving Private Ryan to Interstellar, The Martian To Ellysium, Matt Damon had always required an awful lot of saving and rescuing, and although we cheer for the search party at that time, the amount that has been spent in all these missions has definitely cost a pretty penny.
A member of the Quora community recently posted this question, and an Australian researcher, Kynan Eng did the Maths to figure out how much it cost to keep our hero alive, and damn Matt Damon!
Based on the fictional costs, he has calculated that over $900 bn has been spent attempting to bring him from away places. That’s almost a trillion dollars. Phew!
Here’s how he broke it down and did his calculations.
Although with the repeated box office success of all his movies, we think it might be worth it for the producers. Of course, not to forget he has given us ‘Good Will Hunting’, my most favourite movie ever, then I suppose it’s all fair, no?
What do you think about this outrageous amount? Tell us in the comments.
